Work closely with New Product Introduction Teams and Manufacturing Engineering to source and develop a supply chain for new commodities as well as existing commodities Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers and sub-contractors for timely receipt of goods Negotiate optimum pricing solutions and order policies, terms and conditions with suppliers and sub-contractors with consideration and compliance to applicable laws, policy, codes, and regulations pertaining to purchasing Develop and implement supplier agreements for key, critical or strategic suppliers Develop and maintain supplier and sub-contractor relationships and strategic alliances to ensure continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics in order to improve supplier performance Review, evaluate, and monitor department purchase requisitions for proper authorization, specifications, and legal compliance Global travel to supplier sites will be required for this position

For our Global Purchasing Team based in Munich, Germany, we are looking for YOU to join our company as an NPI Sourcing Buyer (m/f) Your responsibilities: Work closely with New Product Introduction Teams and Manufacturing Engineering to source and develop a supply chain for new commodities as well as existing commodities Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers and sub-contractors for timely receipt of goods Negotiate optimum pricing solutions and order policies, terms and conditions with suppliers and sub-contractors with consideration and compliance to applicable laws, policy, codes, and regulations pertaining to purchasing Develop and implement supplier agreements for key, critical or strategic suppliers Develop and maintain supplier and sub-contractor relationships and strategic alliances to ensure continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics in order to improve supplier performance Review, evaluate, and monitor department purchase requisitions for proper authorization, specifications, and legal compliance Global travel to supplier sites will be required for this position Your qualifications: Master of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering (Univ./FH) or technical studies, or comparable education 3-5 years of progressive procurement experience in a public or private sector environment Strong communication skills together with hands-on and results-oriented mind-set Methods of supplier development Negotiation skills Very good knowledge of PPS systems in purchasing functions Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German Good knowledge of standard Office applications What we offer: We offer you the opportunity to work on challenging and interesting projects in an international team, saving lives with your work.
