As Engineering Leader (m/f/d), you head the local delegation of the Global Engineering Department in Cologne with 10 direct employees. Together with this group, you are responsible for the organization and - in cooperation with our Engineering Partner Company - for the Smooth Implementation of investment projects at the Cologne location from engineering to handover to the company organization. The portfolio of investment projects ranges from minor improvement measures to infrastructure projects and large new construction projects. The establishment of the department, the Development of its employees and the coordination of project priorities in the area of tension between operation, Maintenance and Engineering partners are among your core tasks. On an international level, you will be a member of the European Global Engineering Leadership Team and work in it to advance major international projects and help shape the evolution of the Global Engineering department for the future.

Successfully completed studies in process engineering, chemical engineering, production technology, mechanical engineering, etc. Min 10 years of relevant experience as Project Manager (m/f/d) of capital projects in chemical plants / process industry. PMP Certification and/or MBA a plus Know-how in project and risk management as well as good business knowledge Constructive handling of critical project situations; Strong leadership skills, high professional and personal ethics, capability to coordinate / influence third parties Self-driven and enthusiastic about project design / execution and overall continuous improvement of relevant processes Convinced team player in collaborative and leading situations, with ability to interact with organizational levels both horizontally and vertically High scythe of responsibility and safety, strong communication skills, independence, assertiveness and ability to provide an overview Fluent German and written and spoken English
