Responsible for providing legal advice on a wide range of European privacy and data protection related legal/compliance issues Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts Spending approximately 50% of time on privacy and data protection issues and approximately 50% of time on commercial contracts Reviewing and advising on a variety of different contracts for privacy and data protection issues Assisting in the development and management of privacy and data protection related contracts, including drafting/reviewing Standard Contractual Clauses and data processing agreements Evaluating the potential impact of legislative and regulatory reforms and proposals Collaborating closely with Garmin's European Data Protection Officer and Garmin's in-house counsel on assigned tasks Collaborating with other members of Garmin's global privacy and product teams to evaluate new products, applications, and features to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including in particular sales and distribution agreements, marketing and sponsorship agreements Providing advice and practical guidance to Garmin's European sales and marketing teams, with a particular focus on the DACH regional offices.
