Be responsible for leading the development of ERGO's global property/first-party actuarial pricing capability. Bring forward traditional pricing topics (actuarial benchmarking, building out pricing models, profitability deep dives). Develop emerging pricing topics such as the use of credibility theory, machine learning etc. Work on businesses from small/middle markets, where significant GLM modelling is required. Do ratemaking projects for large corporate risks, where informed judgment from experience is relied upon to account for volatility. Collaborate with colleagues from other departments (including Munich Re) to ensure the pricing proposals are consistent with the wider corporate processes (NatCAT modelling, Reserving, Internal Model etc). Making sure that pricing best practices and rate benchmarks are shared for traditional commercial & industry business as well as for emerging products such as e.g. car sharing and cyber risk insurance. Prepare and complete pricing analyses, including the development of rates, ultimate loss projections and communication of results.

For our location in Düsseldorf we are looking for Referent (m/w/d) Actuarial Pricing - Commercial Your tasks: This role offers a unique opportunity to work at ERGO Group level on commercial & industrial lines actuarial pricing topics. You have the opportunity to work in a young, ambitious team to support the international property&casualty companies of ERGO. Your profile 3-5 years or more of actuarial pricing or risk management experience in (mostly) commercial / industrial lines environment. Able to communicate actuarial topics in non-technical terms. Experience in using EMBLEM, SAS, R, IGLOO and ResQ is an advantage. Fluent/native German speaking is preferred. A good command in English also required to work in an international Environment. preferred: you pursue a formal education or you are a member of an internationally recognized actuarial organization.
